How about this gorgeous country rustic table setting for your upcoming wedding or party? I’m loving how gypsophila has made a return to wedding decor…
Our little site at the Bridal Expo won a prize today for our display. We were up against the big guns!! Thank you to my amazing team – Margie – Budz, Heather and Lachie – Chaircovers Over All, Mandy from Celebrate with A Cake by Mandy Lynn and Tanya from Tah Design. — at The Barn Palais. You all made this day a success.
Kirsti & Aaron’s wedding was held at the beautiful Kalangadoo Estate Homestead which was once owned by Kirsti’s Mum’s Scottish ancestors when they first came out to Australia. It has been since sold and passed through owner to owner until coming back into their loving care. The gardens were breathtaking and provided a fantastic back drop for the marquee.
Kirsti and Aaron both lived in Melbourne and wanted a French blue theme throughout. Matching this theme Kirsti ordered material from France to cover her tables. Candles were set up throughout the picturesque gardens which provided a romantic glow into the evening. Dispensers of punch quenched the guests thirst on this very hot January day.
What astounded the guests was the gigantic four tier wedding cake made by local, Helen Strachan which boasted fresh hydrangeas and sat atop a family heirloom – an antique silver cake stand and our creative idea of a table seating plan etched onto a magnificent mirror steered guests in the right direction.
My dream team consisted of Blue Lake Hire for the marquee, Renniks Hire and Atlas Hire for the chivari chairs and champagne stands, Margie from Budz for the beautiful blue hydrangeas. My own hard working team of Cheryl, Carmen, Brittany and Alison were of course, amazing as always. Thank you for helping create the magic!
A romantic proposal in France set the scene for this recent French inspired vintage garden wedding held in the lovely surrounds of Katnook Estate winery in Coonawarra. Naomi was the most amazing bride to work with and had such a great vision of how she wanted her dream wedding to look
– from the miniature framed chalkboards written with French numbers ‘une – quatre’ placed on the guest tables, to the vintage bottles, jars and vases saved over time showcasing beautiful David Austin roses,
to the eco friendly succulent bombonieres “pour votre jardin”.
Not forgetting the sweet tooth – a candy buffet was on offer
and vintage display tables boasting not only an old Valentine typewriter which entertained guests when they had to type messages for the bride and groom but a memory tree showcasing old family photos and would you believe – bus tickets from a bygone era!
This was one of the most stunning and spectacular weddings that Wedding & Event Management Services has had the pleasure to work on and we were was thrilled to be a part of Naomi and James’ special day. Happy New Year to everyone. We have much to be thankful for in 2010 and to celebrate, I am so excited to share with you some fabulous shots from Nikki and Adam’s wedding. Nikki wanted everything to be simple but classy and for everyone to have a great time. The bride and groom held their beautiful ceremony at Sherriffmuir gardens which was an absolute vision on the day – just like the bride! This wedding was all about family and friends coming together and having a great time in celebration of the beginning of their marriage. Here is just a small collation of Nikki and Adam’s wedding photos with more available at the Wedding & Event Management Services website gallery.
